We are seeking a highly skilled Part time Controller to join HealthLynked, a forward-thinking public company dedicated to improving healthcare delivery. you will work with our in office book keeper and report directly to the CFO, you will oversee our comprehensive financial operations and play a crucial role in managing accounting records, ensuring compliance, and guiding financial decisions through strategic policy enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations: Oversee billing, financial statements, general ledger, payroll, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and tax compliance.
Financial Statements: Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO to maintain accurate financial reporting and decision support.
Audits: Lead the annual audit process by coordinating with external auditors and the accounting team.
Internal Controls: Ensure the application of effective internal controls and financial procedures.
Reporting: Provide accurate and useful financial and management reports for federal and state agencies, foundations, and HealthLynked’s board of directors.
Regulatory Reporting: Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reports, including tax planning and compliance.
Closing Process: Support the month-end and year-end close process.
Tax Filings: Manage local, state, and federal government reporting and tax filings.
Business Process Improvement: Document, develop, and improve business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
Proven experience as a financial controller or similar role.
Strong understanding of SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Experience in public company accounting, financial reporting, and transaction processing.
Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Office.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to deliver accurate results under pressure.
