Looking for an experienced independent bookkeeper with strong month-end and quarterly taxes experience to work from your home office. You will work with the Accounting Lead dividing up her responsibilities. Must be experienced in NetSuite as we have transitioned over to that. This person will be assisting with onboarding and may also be called on as backup training for the NetSuite training. Bookkeeping skills to include reconciliations, month end procedures, quarterly taxes, and work overflow of Accounting Dept. The initial goal is to take pressure off the accounting lead, therefore monthly time could fluctuate. Potential to work more hours as the company grows and potential of joining our team on a permanent basis, if so desired. We are a young manufacturing company growing rapidly. We sell after-market Automotive parts, that are not made anywhere else in the world. We currently deal with e-commerce sales and larger wholesalers. As a company we strive to be good stewards of our employees and contracted work force. Our Team is an easy-going bunch and finding enjoyment in our day-to-day operations is a must. Required Experience NetSuite Quick Books on-line would be helpful, but not necessary (our current accounting program) Reconciliation of Bank Accounts Month-end procedures Quarterly Taxes Payroll – Some experience would be helpful. Possibly added task down the road. Accounts Receivables & Payables Inventory – some inventory experience would be helpful. Knowledge of RMA’s (Return Merchandise Authorization) and Credit Memo’s in NetSuite. Please be clear what allotment of time you are looking for, as the needs of this position will be evolving on a regular basis. We would like to start off without any misunderstandings on either side. To be clear, starting out could be 10 hours a month, or 10 hours per week. We won't know until we get going.
