We are adding an addition to our dental practice and we need someone to help us with a few room layouts, create design elements for the ceilings and design the check in / check out desks as well as consultation rooms. The ideal candidate can take the existing drawing and use CAD / AI to enhance it, design elements and create drawings of what it will look like when finished. All elements, such as desks, consultation rooms, ceiling designs, .. will need to have dimensions included with the drawings so our contractor can build them. Lastly, we will want help choosing color, finishes, flooring, art, .. in order to get a completed design which fits our dental practice and the "vibe" we want our guests to feel.

Currently, we are offering an exceptional opportunity for a candidate who has an affinity and background in interior design with the skill set to assist in architectural production or project coordination when required. As project design/drafter/coordinator with DMZ, you will work alongside DMZ leadership and/or project team members, to conceive captivating design applications relevant to our client's wishes and budget; and help develop the accompanying permit drawings required to make the projects come to life. You will be paired with fellow drafters or other designers in the development of larger, more prominent projects; all to complete permit-level drawings. The work will range from programming to conceptual design concepts, to design; and lastly construction administration – if necessary. In all cases, unless otherwise discussed, the chosen designer/drafter/coordinator will report to and be assisted by the DMZ leadership or an assigned Project executive/Manager. REQUIREMENTS: -The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skill set to be considered for the position. -Fluent and professional command of both written and verbal English language -Experience developing Healthcare, commercial, education & retail projects in Florida. -Background in Interior design and a moderate level of visualization capabilities. -Capable of developing and executing small projects with little supervision, as well as working on large-scale teams within the Revit BIM platform. -Intimate knowledge of the Florida Building Code, NFPA, -Ability to lead and mentor supporting drafters while developing design and permit dwgs. -Create or markup appropriate building installation details. -Ability & initiative to research products & vendors to develop project-specific details. -Engage and coordinate all aspects of construction drawings design with respective engineers. -Develop and reinforce a drawing production schedule based on the overall project schedule and milestones. -Construction Administration -High-level presentation skills - Registered in the state of Florida ( Bonus) SOFTWARE: Candidates are expected to hold personal access to the following BASIC software to apply for the position: Revit 2023 and above | BIM360/Collaborate | Bluebeam 2021+ | Autocad 2018 & above | Sketchup 2023 & above BONUS: Rendering software such as 3D max, Rhino, Lumion| Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator ect… Florida Licensure Knowledge of AHCA and FGI healthcare guidelines.
