Amazon Product Researcher

We are seeking 2-3 Amazon product researchers to deliver 50-100 product ideas per week. These ideas must align with a specific manufacturing model, requiring detailed research and understanding of manufacturing processes.

We are a USA-based manufacturer with in-house laser cutting, bending, welding, and powder coating. We can produce simple metal products quickly and at low cost. We are NOT private label sellers and don’t import from China.

Our Amazon strategy:
Find simple products with existing search demand → make them in-house → price competitively → win through velocity.

No branding.
No fancy packaging.
Just clean execution.

What We Need From You

Your job is to research Amazon and provide a weekly list of product ideas that meet ALL of these criteria:

Primarily metal, flat-ish, or simple fabricated shapes
Manufacturable with: laser cutting, press brake bending, welding (light), powder coating
Small/simple assemblies okay
Weight ideally under 4 lbs
No electronics
No batteries
No toys, apparel, beauty, or fragile items

Examples include:
Brackets
Mounting plates
Tool holders
Simple racks/shelves
Guards, covers, shrouds
Industrial/garage organization pieces
Replacement parts/mounts for popular products
(This is the pattern. You’ll get sample ASINs after hiring so you know exactly what fits.)

• Amazon Opportunity Requirements
• Monthly search volume: 2,000 – 100,000
• Competitors: fewer than 10 quality listings
• Review count: ideally under 300
• BSR in main category: < 50,000 preferred
• At least 3 of the top 10 listings should be low quality (bad images, poor titles, overpriced)
• This is NOT about chasing high margins.
• It’s about existing demand + weak competition + product simplicity.
• Each product idea you provide must include:
• ASIN
• Competitor price range
• Estimated monthly sales
• Estimated monthly search volume
• “Why this is a good fit” (2–3 sentences, concise)
• 1–3 screenshots of top competitors
• Quick manufacturability comment (“simple flat plate”, “needs 1 bend”, “welded frame”, etc.)
• Difficulty Score (1–5)
• Opportunity Score (1–5)
• You should be able to generate 50–100 ideas per week using Helium10, Jungle Scout, DataDive, or your preferred tools.
