2D Architect for Detailed Layout and 3D SketchUp

We are looking for a highly skilled 2D Architect / Draftsperson to produce accurate, construction-ready drawings for an interior/architectural project. The final output should allow the contractor to build exactly as planned, with no guesswork.

The right candidate must be detail-oriented, experienced with technical standards, and capable of transforming a conceptual design into precise AutoCAD/SketchUp 2D plans and elevations.

Responsibilities

• Create a complete 2D layout showing accurate room dimensions, wall placements, openings, window/door sizes, circulation flow, and furniture positioning.
• Produce detailed interior elevations for each wall, including all key elements: cabinetry, built-ins, lighting, switches, sockets, plumbing points, tile layout, and material placement.
• Provide technical drawings for:
• carpentry and built-ins
• countertops and bar/kitchen details
• bathroom layouts
• flooring patterns and levels
• ceiling plans & lighting layout
• Prepare dimensioned and labeled drawings ready for contractor execution.
• Coordinate with designer/owner to refine layout and resolve technical challenges.

• Create detailed 2D layouts with elevation
• Provide 3D SketchUp models
• Ensure designs are contractor-ready
