B2B Writer for Thought Leadership Content on Applied AI

AltaML is Canada’s leading applied AI company, and we’re seeking experienced freelance writers to contribute to our Insights blog, a hub for thought leadership on agentic AI, applied innovation, and digital transformation across industries.

We’re looking for writers who can speak confidently to business decision-makers and explain complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly. You’ll help us translate the real-world value of AI into stories that resonate with leaders in sectors such as health, energy, and the public sector.

Each assignment will include a detailed brief with topic direction, key takeaways, and focus keywords. We’ll also share our AltaML Style Guide, which outlines our brand voice and provides direction on tone, grammar, and language.

What You’ll Do:

- Write original, well-researched 1,500-word articles for the AltaML Insights blog.
- Craft engaging, credible narratives that balance technical clarity and strategic storytelling.
- Incorporate EEAT best practices and modern SEO strategies suited for a zero-click search environment.
- Recommend relevant data visualizations where appropriate (we love them!).
- Suggest image ideas (we’ll source final visuals).

What We’re Looking For:

- 3+ years of experience writing for B2B audiences, ideally in technology, AI, or data-driven innovation.
- Strong understanding of SEO and EEAT principles.
- Ability to write with authority for executive and decision-maker audiences.
- Proven track record of producing clear, accurate, and engaging blog content.
- Familiarity with generative AI, automation, and digital transformation topics is a plus.

Compensation:

- Competitive per-article rate (based on experience and complexity).
- Ongoing work available for top performers.
