Job Title: Chemical/Biochemical Engineer
Project Description
This project requires candidates to evaluate the responses of our client’s Large Language Model for accuracy, coherence, and alignment with their quality standards. You will be evaluating responses related to your domain of expertise and given access to search and research tools. You will verify the accuracy of each response, correct mistakes made by the LLM, and give detailed feedback on the LLM’s performance in each response.
Location: Priority consideration for applicants in the U.S. or educated at accredited U.S. institutions.
Commitment
We expect a minimum of 15 hours per week, however considering the project scope and timelines the preferred and recommended commitment would be 8 hours/day. ALL CANDIDATES WHO CAN COMMIT FOR LESS THAN 15 HOURS/WEEK WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Hiring Profile
You hold a BSc/MSc/PhD in Chemical Engineering or Biochemical Engineering, with coursework in Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena, Reaction Engineering, Unit Operations, and Differential Equations.
You are confident working on chemistry-heavy problems, bioprocess/biochemistry, materials/kinetics/thermodynamics, and process reasoning.
You have operated primarily within Chemical & Materials Sciences (all subdomains).
You are interested in covering clinical/biochemical crossovers from Life Sciences and chemistry aspects in Engineering/Technology as needed.
You demonstrate C1+ English proficiency with excellent writing skills.
Bonus: You have experience with data labeling, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
