UK-Based Research & Outreach Assistant for Football Clubs & Venues

We’re organising OneShot Trials — a national football showcase project giving unsigned players across the UK a genuine chance to be scouted by clubs and professional coaches.
Our next trials run between 16th–21st February 2025 in Manchester, Birmingham, and London.

We’re looking for a UK-based assistant or football-connected researcher to help us secure venues and confirm club attendance for these events.

🎯 Responsibilities

Your role will include:
• Venue Research & Booking Coordination
• Identify 1 stadium/pitch per city (Manchester, Birmingham, London) suitable for full-day football use (8AM–8PM).
• Collect full contact details (facility manager name, email, phone number, booking terms, and costs).
• Confirm availability between 16–21 February 2025.
• Obtain details on changing rooms, insurance requirements, and cancellation policies.
• Club Outreach & Confirmation
• Contact local football clubs (Step 3–9 ideally) to confirm interest in attending the final showcase as scouting guests.
• Secure 5–10 confirmations per city, including:
• Club name, contact person, and position
• Email/phone confirmation that they’ll attend the final showcase (3 hours)
• Any appearance fee requirements (between £50–£150 typical range)
• Keep communication records (email or screenshot proof of confirmation).
• Data Organisation
• Log all confirmed contacts in a Google Sheet or CSV with these columns:
• City | Club/Stadium | Contact Name | Role | Phone | Email | Confirmed (Y/N) | Fee (if any) | Notes
• Prepare a 1-page summary report per city listing your recommended venue and top confirmed clubs.

Timeline: 6 calendar days from hire.

Deliverables for completion:
1. 3 confirmed stadiums (Manchester, Birmingham, London) with all details & contacts
2. 15–30 confirmed clubs (5–10 per city) with written confirmation
3. Final report (CSV + 1-page summaries + proof of confirmations)
