Beverage Formulator Needed – Sparkling Alcoholic Drink (Low-Cal, Fruit-Flavored)

Looking for an experienced beverage formulator to develop a clean, fruit-flavored sparkling alcoholic drink (4–5% ABV, low-calorie, carbonated). Includes flavor development, alcohol base selection, regulatory input, and optional prototype support. Potential for long-term collaboration.
I’m developing a new ready-to-drink sparkling alcoholic beverage that’s light, refreshing, and naturally flavored with fruit and botanicals. It should be gluten-free, lightly carbonated, and designed for commercial-scale production.
This is a ground-up project — ideal for someone who enjoys building something new from scratch. Please begin your proposal to this job with your favorite fruit or cocktail. If the initial formulation goes well, I hope to continue working together on seasonal or limited-edition flavors in the future.
Ideal Freelancer:
- Experience formulating RTD alcoholic drinks (hard seltzers, canned cocktails, wine spritzers, etc.)
- Understands carbonation, flavor layering, and clean-label ingredient use
- Can provide shelf-stability or packaging input (bonus)
- Familiar with EU beverage labeling and alcohol classification regulations
- Open to long-term collaboration for future flavor expansions and seasonal SKUs
Note: Knowledge of European Union (EU) beverage labeling and alcohol regulations is preferred, as the product will be prepared for EU compliance.
Looking to begin formulation as soon as possible and ideally wrap up the first version within 4–6 weeks. Open to flexible timelines for the right expert.

- Developing a stable and great-tasting formula (target: ~4–5% alcohol, sparkling)

- Ingredient sourcing suggestions (flavors, alcohol base, carbonation support)
- Nutrition facts estimation and EU-compliant labeling advice
