Job Description: Book Cover & Layout Designer (InDesign Expert)

Seeking an experienced graphic designer to finalize the cover and internal layout of a book for both physical print and ebook publication. All layout and design work must be completed in Adobe InDesign, and delivery of the InDesign master files (.indd) and packaged assets is required.

Responsibilities:
- Design a professional, print-ready book cover using InDesign.
- Prepare the book’s internal layout for physical print, with attention to typesetting, fonts, margins, and pagination.
- Format the interior for digital distribution, with compatibility for Kitaboo’s ebook platform.
- Ensure files meet industry standards for both print and ebook formats.
- Deliver all InDesign master files and packaged assets upon completion.
- Respond promptly to feedback and be ready for a quick turnaround on all deliverables.

Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
- Demonstrated experience designing book interiors and covers for both print and digital formats.
- Familiarity with, or ability to adapt quickly to, Kitaboo ebook platform requirements.
- Strong eye for detail in layout, typography, and design consistency.
- Portfolio of relevant book or editorial layout work.
- Must be able to meet quick turnaround deadlines.
