Exposé Wanted: Journalist to Uncover Legal Fraud & Review Suppression by “Faith-Based” Law Firm
Worldwide
Overview
I’m hiring an investigative journalist with sharp instincts and the courage to follow a disturbing trail of legal malpractice, spiritual fraud, and systemic retaliation that has destroyed lives—including my own.
This is a real case involving attorneys who pose as pastors, manipulate trust, and then sabotage the very clients they swore to protect. Even worse, they work the system to evade accountability—and when victims speak out, reviews are suppressed, censored, or removed entirely.
⸻
The Story
This matter involves a California-based attorney or group of attorneys who:
• Market themselves under religious or faith-based titles, especially “pastors,” to gain trust from vulnerable clients.
• Perform superficial or clerical legal work, while charging exorbitant fees and making verbal promises never delivered.
• Then proceed to:
• File motions to withdraw once paid
• If denied, unilaterally dismiss cases without client consent, sometimes minutes before hearings or deadlines
• File liens or lawsuits against their own clients
• Collude with opposing counsel behind the scenes
• Stall litigation long enough to run out the clock, time-bar client claims, and destroy recovery options
⸻
Real World Impact
I’m one of many affected.
In my case, I lost a multi-million-dollar real estate litigation because the attorney dismissed the case without my consent, after refusing to follow instructions. My case was never restored, and my ability to reverse the damage was permanently lost.
Others were evicted from homes, robbed of claims, or abandoned after trusting the “pastor-lawyer” facade. Several tried leaving honest online reviews—but their reviews disappeared from Yelp, Facebook, Google, etc.
This isn’t just bad lawyering—it’s a pattern of fraud, misrepresentation, and coordinated reputation suppression.
⸻
Areas to Investigate
1. Legal Patterns
• Multiple cases dismissed without consent
• Unusual lien activity against clients
• Multiple motions to withdraw after large retainers
• Frivolous filings or clerical “busywork” with no real representation
• Verified state bar complaints
2. Censorship & Reputation Washing
• Disappearing reviews on Google, Yelp, Facebook, Avvo, etc.
• Signs of paid suppression or threats issued to reviewers
3. Victim Outreach
• Interview other harmed clients who were misled or coerced
• Collect statements from those silenced or blocked from reviews
4. Religious & Emotional Manipulation
• How the “pastor-lawyer” brand is weaponized for control
• Use of guilt, scripture, or “God’s will” to silence resistance or concerns
⸻
Deliverables
• 1,500–3,000 word report or exposé (can be structured as a long-read piece or article series)
• Public record trail: court filings, complaints, liens, case summaries
• Potential interviews or quotes from other victims (with privacy protections if needed)
• Summary of online review suppression behavior
• Optional: pitch brief for publication or public release
⸻
Ideal Candidate
• Experience in legal journalism, exposing fraud, or religion + power dynamics
• Background in California law, public records, or courtwatching
• Courage to face a system where even the truth gets erased
• Bonus: knowledge of review suppression tactics or SEO manipulation
⸻
Budget
Negotiable – open to hourly or fixed-fee. Please include:
