Freelance Career Coach for Relocating Spouses and Partners

City Shift Finance is looking to add a freelance career coach who can support the spouses and partners of employees who are relocating. Many of our clients move to a new city for work and their spouse or partner needs guidance with career direction, job search strategy, and confidence during the transition. We want to provide them with structured, professional support as part of their relocation experience.

The role includes helping spouses identify their strengths, clarify their professional goals, improve their job search approach, and prepare for interviews. Support may be provided through short sessions, email guidance, or structured check ins. This is a remote freelance role and will be ongoing, based on client volume.

Responsibilities:
• Provide career coaching tailored to spouses and partners navigating a relocation
• Support clients in identifying goals, strengths, and market positioning
• Assist with job search strategy, resume clarity, and communication
• Provide interview preparation and confidence building guidance
• Maintain a supportive and professional client relationship

Requirements:
• Experience in career coaching, talent development, HR, or related areas
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Ability to guide clients through career transitions with clarity and empathy
• Reliable, organized, and responsive

Nice to have:
• Experience coaching clients during life changes or relocations
• Familiarity with job markets across major U.S. cities
