Description

I’m looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help build the MVP of a new SaaS product aimed at the passive fire protection, building safety, and compliance sector.

I run a successful company in this industry and have first-hand knowledge of the workflow problems, inefficiencies, and documentation challenges that contractors and consultants face daily. I’m now building a software tool to streamline that process.

The goal is to develop a clean, fast, reliable cloud-based platform that allows users to:

Create, manage, and track site tasks

Log fire stopping work with photos, notes, and location data

Generate reports instantly from site data

Record compliance evidence (FRA actions, inspections, etc.)

Manage projects and workflows in one place

Provide a simple, intuitive UI that field teams can use quickly

This will be the first version (MVP), with future phases planned.

What I’m Looking For

Technical requirements (ideal but flexible):

Strong full-stack experience

Familiarity with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar)

Backend experience (Node.js, Laravel, Django, etc.)

Experience building SaaS or workflow/apps

Ability to integrate cloud storage for images & files

Good understanding of authentication, security, and role-based access

Experience with mobile-friendly or PWA-style interfaces

Bonus if you have:

Experience with field service apps

Built compliance or reporting tools before

Mapping/location feature experience

Experience with Fire Safety / Construction SaaS

What You’ll Be Building (MVP Scope)

The MVP will focus on the following:

User login & roles

Project dashboard

Create jobs / tasks

Upload photos + descriptions

Auto-generate PDF reports

Admin panel for managing users/projects

Simple, clean UI/UX

Cloud-based database

I will provide:

Real-world workflows from my own business

Sample forms, photos, reporting examples

Clear requirements and domain knowledge

Quick, decisive feedback

Long-term direction for future versions

I’m looking for someone who:
