Full-Stack Pet Content Creator & Ads Manager (Must Have Dog Access)

Hi! I’m Lucy, founder of KRWN, a premium pet wellness brand based in Canada.
We create science-backed, prevention-focused supplements for dogs (and cats!) that help pets live longer, healthier lives.
We’re looking for a proactive, creative, and performance-driven content creator who can take full ownership of our organic and paid social media growth.
This is a long-term monthly role — not a one-off freelance project. You’ll be responsible for creating content with dogs, editing short-form videos, and running Meta ads that convert.
What You’ll Do
Content Creation
Film and edit original Reels/TikToks featuring dogs (cats are a plus)
Shoot product-in-hand, lifestyle, and testimonial-style videos
Write captions that speak to real pet parent concerns
Maintain a consistent content schedule (5–7 posts per week)
Growth & Performance
Run and optimize Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads
Test creative variations weekly, track ROAS/CPA, and adjust based on results
Repurpose UGC and ambassador content into ad creatives
Report results and new ideas weekly
Must-Haves
Regular access to dogs for filming, cat preferred as well
Access to your own filming equipment
Proven short-form video editing skills (Reels/TikTok native feel)
Experience running Meta ads for eCommerce or DTC brands
Reliable communication — able to plan, deliver, and update without chasing
Experience sourcing UGC creators or coordinating product shoots
Nice-to-Have
Background in pet, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands
Basic knowledge of Shopify
Compensation

- 5–7 IG/TikTok Reels per week

- Product demos
- Benefit-focused clips
- UGC-style pet parent stories
- Founder/Kash story content (when relevant)
- 3–5 IG Story Sets per week
- – BTS, product education, retail updates, UGC reposts, ambassador features
- 2–4 Photo Graphics or Carousels per month
- – For educational posts or launches
- Shot Lists Created Monthly
- – Clear instructions for UGC creators or pet parents
- – Clear instructions for your own filming days
- 2. Filming Requirements
- Must film original content with dogs weekly
- – Your own dog or a dog you have consistent access to
- – Ability to shoot lifestyle, POV, handheld, demo-style videos
- Must use own equipment
- – Phone with good camera
- – Tripod
- – Soft lighting
- – Basic audio if speaking
- Must gather footage from UGC creators
- – Review raw clips
- – Select best angles
- – Direct re-shoots if needed
- 3. Editing & Output
- Edit all Reels/TikTok content
- – Fast, native-feel, vertical short-form
- – Text overlays
- – Clean transitions
- – KRWN brand tone consistently applied
- Prepare variations for ads
- – Hook variation
- – Text variation
- – CTA variation
- Upload + schedule content
- – All posts must be scheduled 2–3 days ahead
- – No day-of posting
- 4. Paid Ads (Meta – Facebook/Instagram)
- Manage full ads account
- – Set up campaigns
- – Test multiple creatives weekly
- – Optimize audiences
- – Monitor spend & ROAS
- 3–6 New Ad Creatives Weekly
- – From UGC, lifestyle, product demos
- – Must include pet parent talking-to-camera style when appropriate

- 5. Communication Deliverables
- Weekly Content Calendar (every Sunday night)

- Daily Check-In (Mon–Fri)

- What’s being worked on tomorrow
- Any issues/requests
- 1 Weekly Strategy Sync (15 minutes)
