Full-Time eCommerce SEO Specialist (Technical + Strategy + Content)
Worldwide
We are looking for a full-time eCommerce SEO Specialist who can take ownership of SEO strategy and execution across multiple online stores. This is a long-term role (40 hours/week), not a project-based contract.
The ideal candidate has experience ranking Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or similar platforms and understands both the technical and content sides of SEO. We’re looking for someone who takes responsibility, communicates clearly, and enjoys becoming a core part of a team—rather than juggling many clients at once.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with our team to manage and execute all aspects of SEO, including:
Strategy & Planning
- Building full SEO strategies (audits, roadmaps, opportunity identification)
- Keyword research + keyword clustering based on intent & page type
- Designing eCommerce-specific site structures (collections, product architecture, internal links)
Technical SEO
- Running full technical audits (indexing, crawlability, schema, speed, sitemaps)
- Identifying technical issues and coordinating fixes
- Optimizing Shopify, WooCommerce, or other eCommerce platforms
Content & On-Page SEO
- Writing/optimizing category pages, product pages, and editorial content
- Creating briefs and outlines
- Using NLP, search intent, and competitor analysis to improve rankings
Reporting & Analytics
- Using Google Search Console, GA4, and other tools to track performance
- Preparing clear reports and communicating progress
Client Communication
- Joining calls when needed
- Explaining SEO findings in simple, clear language
- Acting as a reliable, proactive member of the team
Required Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience
- eCommerce SEO experience (required)
- Strong understanding of keyword research, clustering, intent, and mapping
- Strong technical knowledge (crawling tools, schema, indexing logic, Shopify quirks, etc.)
- Very strong English writing skills for on-page content
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
- Good communication skills and stable internet connection
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience writing category or product descriptions
- Experience using tools like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Surfer, or similar
- Basic understanding of CRO or UX principles
- Experience coordinating with writers or developers
Work Expectations
- Full-time role (40 hours/week)
- Must be available for team communication + occasional client calls
- Must NOT be juggling multiple heavy client loads; this is a core-team role
- Long-term commitment
