Project Title: Westley and Zuma Visit the Wat – Children’s Picture Book

Project Overview:
I’m looking for an illustrator to bring to life a warm, gentle children’s picture book titled Westley and Zuma Visit the Wat. The story follows a curious young boy (Westley) and his loyal dog (Zuma) as they explore a Buddhist temple (Wat). The tone is friendly, calming, and suitable for ages 3–7.

What I Need:

10–20 illustrations (mix of full-page and spot illustrations)

1 cover illustration

Simple, child-friendly art style — whimsical, soft, warm

Clean character design for Westley and Zuma

Colour illustrations preferred

Digital artwork delivered as high-resolution files

Must be comfortable illustrating a Buddhist temple setting respectfully

Looking For:

Intermediate or emerging illustrators (students welcome)

Cost-effective rates without sacrificing style

Ability to stay consistent with characters across pages

Good communication and openness to feedback

Experience with children’s books is an asset but not required
