Interior Designer for Common Area Design
Worldwide
We are seeking an experienced interior designer to develop the common areas of our home—living/TV room, kitchen, and dining room (see attached sketch). The home is in the planning phase, and its exterior closely reflects the attached reference image.
Our goal is a modern classic interior: a design that maintains the elegance and proportions of classical architecture without becoming strictly traditional. We want a transitional style that blends classical structure with modern comfort, materials, and functionality.
Required Style Expertise:
Transitional, Mediterranean, and Neoclassical.
The ideal candidate is passionate about modern classic design and skilled at balancing classical elements with a contemporary feel. Crown moldings, chandeliers, coffered ceilings, wall panels, and lighting must be used with intention, proper scale, and stylistic harmony—never as arbitrary decorative pieces.
Note: Successful completion of this phase may lead to continued design work throughout the rest of the property, both interior and exterior.
- Design lighting plan for common areas
- Select interior design element positioning & furnishings
- Provide architectural rendering of the design
- Additional Notes:

- - Create a kitchen design within the open space.
- - Develop a dining room layout with the coffee station and kitchen cabinetry extensions on the opposite wall of the range, next to the dining table
