Description/Information:

As the Director of Client Finance of UCBZeroWaste you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations related to our clients and vendors. You will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payables and Receivables teams, ensuring smooth functioning of financial processes, and evaluating the effectiveness of our finance department operations.  The ideal candidate for the Director of Client and Finance position at UCBZeroWaste possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting along with an MBA or CPA qualification.



Key Responsibilities:  

• Ensure all invoices paid to waste, recycling, and equipment vendors on behalf of UCBZW clients are accurately charged back through Monthly UCBZW Consolidated Invoices.
• Timely issuance of Monthly UCBZW Consolidated Invoices to clients before the last business day of each month.
• Categorize, identify, and reconcile all Divvy Card (UCBZW credit card) payments promptly.
• Ensure timely payment of all waste, recycling, and equipment invoices to vendors, avoiding late payment charges, and maintain documentation in A/P Reports.
• Verify receipt of payments from Rebate Paying Vendors as per A/R Reports and document proof in A/R Reports.
• Implement a cross-check process to reconcile Monthly Consolidated Invoices with vendor payments and rebate receipts, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial transactions.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+years) in financial management, preferably in waste management or related industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including but not limited to ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks.
• Demonstrated ability to strategize and implement financial improvements while ensuring compliance and risk management.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
