Medical Course Writer – Update CPR, First Aid, ACLS, and PALS Courses (2025 AHA Guidelines)

Description:

We are seeking an experienced medical course writer  to review and enhance our CPR, First Aid (FA), ACLS, and PALS courses in accordance with the 2025 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare education, preferably nursing, paramedicine, or emergency medicine, and be familiar with both AHA guideline implementation and adult learning principles.

Responsibilities:

-Review our existing CPR, FA, ACLS, and PALS course materials.

-Compare and update course content to fully align with the 2025 AHA CPR & ECC Guidelines, including:

-Revise lesson outlines, scripts, and assessments where required.

-Ensure all updates maintain AHA compliance while improving clarity and learner engagement.

Requirements:
-Demonstrated experience writing or editing medical education content (preferably AHA-compliant courses).
-Ability to write accurate, evidence-based, and engaging content for healthcare professionals and lay rescuers.

Deliverables:

1. Revised course outlines and lesson scripts for:
-CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS)
-First Aid (FA)
-ACLS
-PALS

-Updated quizzes, knowledge checks, and evaluation tools.
-Reference matrix comparing old vs. new guideline changes.
