Packaging + Card Designer Needed for Family Travel Game

Project Overview:

I have a social media following of around 600k (Fun Dad Dean) and we are looking to create a new spin off card game brand - Fun Dad Games.

Our first game is a family travel game called “Ride and Seek”

It contains 50 challenge cards designed to help families reduce screen time and reconnect during travel.
We are looking for a designer to create the initial concept design for both the box and the cards. After we test the product with parents, we will commission full production-ready artwork.


What We Need Designed:

1. Logo

A clean, modern, warm logo for “Ride and Seek”

2. Box Concept Design

Using our manufacturer’s template, we need a visually appealing design that fits our brand: natural, warm, modern, family-friendly.

3. Card Concept Design
Front and back of the cards, using the provided card template.

4. Brand Elements

● Colour palette (natural + warm tones)

● Typography recommendations

● Iconography or simple graphic elements if needed


We do not need full production-ready files yet — just strong concept designs that can be refined after testing.

What We Will Provide:

● Box dieline template (from manufacturer)

● Card template (from manufacturer)

● Brand vision one-pager

● A description of the product and its purpose

● Examples of styles we like (if needed)




Design Style:

● Modern

● Clean

● Warm & natural

● Premium-quality feel

● Parent-friendly, but not childish

● Simple, elegant, and easy to reproduce




Experience Required:

● Proven experience with packaging design

● Ability to work with deadlines and print specs

● Experience designing card games or consumer products (preferred)




Timeline:

● First concept designs: 1–2 weeks

● Revisions as needed

● Potential ongoing work for further editions and expansions


● This will expand for full production-ready artwork if we move forward
