PowerPoint Designer Needed for Nursing School Lesson Plans

We are a higher education institution specializing in Nursing programs. Our academic team has developed comprehensive, step-by-step lesson plans and classroom activities that now need to be transformed into professional PowerPoint presentations for classroom instruction.
We’re seeking an exceptionally detail-oriented and creative PowerPoint expert who can turn structured academic content into engaging, cohesive, and instructional slides that enhance learning, maintain brand consistency, and meet rigorous educational standards.
What You’ll Do
- Translate detailed lesson plans, activities, and instructor notes into polished PowerPoint decks.
- Create visually engaging slides that communicate key concepts clearly and align with instructional objectives.
- Incorporate graphics, icons, charts, and diagrams that make complex nursing/healthcare concepts easier to grasp.
- Maintain consistent branding, fonts, colors, and slide layouts across all courses.
- Collaborate with the academic team for iterative feedback and improvement.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and flow of information while keeping the design professional and learner-friendly.
Ideal Candidate
You are:
- A PowerPoint and design perfectionist with an eye for aesthetics and instructional clarity.
- Experienced in educational or corporate training content, ideally in healthcare, nursing, or science fields.
- Highly organized, able to follow step-by-step lesson plans while making intelligent design enhancements.
- Creative but disciplined—you bring flair without sacrificing structure or consistency.
- Familiar with modern design principles (flat design, typography hierarchy, visual storytelling).
- Comfortable handling large-scale projects with multiple deliverables and tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven portfolio of PowerPoint or instructional slide decks (education, eLearning, or healthcare preferred).
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong command of English for clear understanding of academic materials.
- Experience collaborating via Google Drive, SharePoint, or LMS platforms a plus.
