Property Management Accounting

We are a fast-growing multi-state property management company seeking experienced Property Accountants who are proficient in Yardi and bring deep knowledge of property accounting best practices.

Our current challenge is that many property accountants struggle with using Yardi effectively, and we need professionals who can step in with confidence, accuracy, and speed. If you are highly skilled, detail-oriented, and can work independently in a remote environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle property accounting using Yardi, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting packages for multiple properties.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with property managers and leadership to provide financial insights and support.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Yardi workflows to improve efficiency.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in property accounting, preferably in a multi-property or multi-state environment.
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager (required) and strong Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate/property management accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly.
• Prior experience working remotely with U.S.-based property management companies is a plus.
