Research Assistant Needed: Angel Investor Filtering & Email Research (B2B SaaS Focus)

I’m looking for a detail-oriented researcher to help me refine and expand a list of potential angel investors. The task has three parts, all related to data validation and publicly available contact research.

This project does not involve scraping websites in ways that violate terms of service, and all research must use publicly accessible, legally compliant sources.

Task Breakdown

1. Filter an existing list (≈170 names)

I will provide a spreadsheet with ~170 individuals.

Your job:

- Review each profile
- Remove anyone currently working at or representing VC funds
- Keep only angel investors, private investors, operators, or founders investing individually

This step is about classification/qualification based on publicly available info (LinkedIn, Crunchbase, personal sites, etc.).

2. Find publicly available emails for the filtered angels/private investors

After you filter the list, you will:

- Research publicly listed contact information only
- Add email addresses and sources back into the spreadsheet
- Ensure accuracy and validation where possible

3. Build a new list of ~150 B2B SaaS-focused angel investors

You will then create a new list of ~150 individuals who meet these criteria:

- Actively investing as angel / private investor (not VC employees)
- Have invested in B2B SaaS companies
- Based in the EU (UK including)
- Publicly available email address listed somewhere online

You will add:

- Name
- LinkedIn URL
- Investment background (short note)
- Email address
- Why do you think this person is investing in B2B SaaS now

• You will provide two spreadsheets:
• 1. Cleaned + enriched list (from the original 170 contacts)
• 2. New investor list (150 B2B SaaS angels with public emails)
• Both must include column consistency and validation notes.
