Summary

Hi! I’m looking to speak with freelancers who regularly work on CAD to GIS conversions.

In a previous role I handled this myself, but often ran into a lot of manual cleanup and inconsistent processes. As I’m getting back into this area again, I’m hoping to learn from people who handle it regularly.- what your workflow looks like, the tools you rely on, and the common issues you run into.

This is NOT a request to convert files - it is a brief 30 minute conversation, along with a CAD to GIS consultatation survey, so I can understand how people approach this work today. I’ll be setting this up as a small fixed-price contract to compensate you for your time.
