Social Media Clip Editor (TikTok, CapCut, YouTube, AI Workflow)

I’m hiring a reliable, detail-oriented social media editor who can follow clear systems and processes. You must have a fast computer, fast internet, a smartphone with TikTok installed, and be able to complete tasks efficiently without charging for render time.

This role may be split into multiple smaller roles depending on who applies. When you apply, you MUST state whether you want to do all tasks or only specific ones (listed below).

PART 1 — YouTube Clips (2 hrs/week, Mon & Thu)

I upload two long YouTube videos per week into Opus Clip.
Your tasks:

Notify me when the clips finish processing

I will mark the clips to use

You export them, organize them in Google Drive, and schedule inside Buffer
We are one month ahead, so this is low-stress and predictable.

PART 2 — TikTok Editing (≈2 hrs/week)

Daily simple edits for a second client:

I upload raw clips to Google Drive

You download to your phone

Edit inside TikTok (captions + music)

Export WITHOUT watermark

Upload final videos back into Google Drive
21 clips per week (3 per day). Each takes around 5 minutes.

PART 3 — AI YouTube Workflow (≈30 min/day)

Using my prebuilt systems:

Use my custom GPT to generate a script

Upload script to HeyGen to create my AI clone video

Start the next video rendering before you log off (no waiting during work hours)

Next day: download finished video, add music in CapCut, create thumbnail, and schedule it on YouTube
This system eliminates wasted time. You must follow the workflow exactly.

EXPECTATIONS

I have clear tutorial videos showing the correct order of tasks.
Past assistants struggled because they ignored the system, wasted time, and then asked for more hours. This job only works if you follow instructions exactly.

You must:

Be efficient

Follow directions step-by-step

Not charge for render time

Have a fast computer capable of smooth editing

Have fast internet

Communicate daily

Be organized and detail-oriented

REQUIREMENTS

Fast computer (required)

TikTok app on your phone

Experience with TikTok editing, CapCut, and simple thumbnail design (Canva/Photoshop)

Familiar with Google Drive

Willing to learn Buffer scheduling (easy)

HOURS + PAY

If you do all three parts: ~31 hours per month total.
If you do only one or two parts, the hours adjust accordingly.
Pay is based on experience.
