Windows Server Expert

Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Windows Server administrator.

Typical Tasks:

1.Manage Active Directory users, groups, and permissions
2.Troubleshoot login issues, Group Policy, and access permissions
3.Maintain DNS and DHCP settings and resolve replication issues
4.Manage RDS environment, including session hosts and licensing
5.Maintain file servers and configure shares / NTFS permissions
6.Monitor and troubleshoot Exchange Server services
7.Check and maintain backups via NetBackup or Windows Backup
8.Apply Windows updates and security patches
9.Monitor server performance and resolve service-related issues
10.Configure scheduled tasks, storage, and printers
11.Assist with virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware) as needed
12.Implement security best practices (firewall rules, RDP access, etc.)

Requirements:

✅ Proven experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
✅ Strong Active Directory and Group Policy knowledge
✅ Hands-on experience with RDS, File Server, Exchange Server, and NetBackup
✅ Experience troubleshooting server, login, and permission issues
✅ Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and server replication
✅ Ability to apply updates, patches, and perform system maintenance
✅ PowerShell scripting experience (nice to have)
✅ Experience with Hyper-V or VMware (bonus)
✅ Reliable, responsive, and available for quick remote support
