E-commerce Accountant with Xero Experience

We are seeking an experienced accountant to manage bookkeeping for our e-commerce business using Xero. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce accounting and be proficient in using Xero for financial management.

Role Overview

The Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial tasks including bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in using Xero to support accurate financial management.

• Key Responsibilities
• - Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
• - Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• - Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• - Manage payroll processing (if applicable)
• - Create and analyse budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
• - Support tax preparation and compliance
• - Oversee inventory costing for eCommerce products
• - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors)
• - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal processes
