E-commerce Video Ad Specialist – Results-Driven, Creative Editing & Storytelling (Monthly Packages)

Summary

Seeking an experienced e-commerce video ad creator to produce 5–10 high-converting ads per month for a growing online store.

Only looking for experienced and proven marketing and professional advert creators, not just flashy video editors.  

You’ll work with an extensive library of product footage (some professional some not) , scenes, and b-roll, but your strength must go far beyond simple editing: you need to understand what drives clicks and sales. I am also open to input and requests to shoot additional footage, people, or myself if it helps boost ad performance. Looking for someone who cares how their ads perform and prefers long term working relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

Create monthly packages of 5 or 10 scroll-stopping, revenue-focused video ads for mostly for Meta, and potentially other platforms in the future.

Understand the brand, product USPs, and audience before editing. I would enjoy working with you on some bits, I have done a lot of work on avatars, hooks, angles, and enjoy contributing. I have finished a train my traffic person course with smart marketer, however, I need help with solid ads.

Develop ad concepts/scripts from raw scenes (not just basic cutting and transitions).

Iterate creative, test multiple hooks and calls-to-action.

Collaborate to refine product positioning/information if needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience creating high-performing e-commerce video ads.

Portfolio demonstrating ads with clear conversion results or ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) metrics.

Case studies or testimonials from DTC/e-commerce clients—briefly describe campaign objective, ad creative, and outcome.

Able to ask questions, analyze product, and suggest creative concepts—not just follow edit instructions.

Reliable, timely communication, able to manage a rolling monthly contract and adapt based on performance.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

Proactively seek product context before editing and really understand how to market and sell.

Offer measurable proven prior results and want to see their own performance feedback (such as ROAS, CTR, conversion rates) to guide new versions.

Deliver creative concepts, captions, and angles, not just assembly. I can do basic capcut myself but want to level up the creatives.

Budget:
Open to discuss based on proven value, but expect rates in the $800–$1,500/month range depending on experience, track record, and ad volume. Also open to lower upfront cost and performance bonuses based on ROAS.

Ideally we can agree a first few and with results go from there. Unfortunately I have used agencies and editors before that just didn't deliver.

First step, review applications, testimonials, then an interview, share my old ads (mostly made by me) then get to know your ideas and see if you really think you can take my brand to the next level.
