I am about to launch a shopify site devoted to pool cues and billiards supplies, and it should be ready in a week or so.  I need help with a marketing strategy, focusing on driving sales of pool cues. What I am thinking is that I need a strong referral program, where I offer some incentive to those who sign up for my site and refer X number of their friends.  My thought is that the players that are buying the $500+ pool cues are usually in pool leagues, so I would like to incentivize these folks to get their friends to register on my site.  I.e. Jake gets 10% off his first purchase for inputting his email address; Jake gets 15% off for life if he gets X number of friends to register and one of them makes a purchase.  The same offer would be extended to each of the X number of friends. There are lots of Facebook groups that include thousands of people looking for pool cues. I don't think I want to try to compete on SEO/PPC on this, but you might convince me otherwise. I have some high end cues ($1000+) and some nice cue bags ($400+), some expensive ball sets and an assortment of other stuff I'm fine to give away as an initial draw to get people pulled in. Also very open to influencers. Do you guys do this kind of work?
