In the continued spirit of transparency and helping other companies learn to uplift their Black employees during the current race crisis, we are sharing the tip sheet we created and shared with all people managers at Upwork.


We have received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from managers who have utilized these tips. This tool has empowered managers to build 1:1 connections and, in turn, has increased their confidence in their abilities to lead diverse teams. We hope your managers find utility in it too.
