I am a graduate of Masters of Public Health (MPH) in Health Services Management with five years’ experience in research, teaching, and community service. I am an assistant professor and researcher of Health Systems, Health Economics, and health policy since 2016. Since 2020 I have been working as a part-time consultant in International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) London Office, participating in a systematic review and evidence synthesis of impact evaluation studies. From January 2018 to 2019 I took a series of training in Health Economics, Health Financing, and Decision Science by professors from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Between 2020 and 2021 I took several courses on economic evaluation of health programs and decision analytic modelling at the University of Oslo, Norway. Throughout my academic career, I participated in a number of research activities and I got about 35 publications in peer-reviewed journals. I have experience of serving as a lead and co-investigator of various research projects funded by national and international organizations. I am also actively engaging in a voluntary Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP), which supports the Oromia regional state health bureau, Ethiopia.
