- English and Spanish tutor, translator, musician, music producer. Greetings. My name´s Daniel Blanco, I am an English/ Spanish teacher, translator, writer and a musician. I was born in Venezuela and I'm currently living and working in Colombia. I've traveled and worked in different countries such as Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and China. -online- I´m a CELTA certified teacher and I´ve worked as an English and Spanish tutor for over 12 years for different private academies, schools, and companies , both onsite and online. Some of the countries where I have worked are Venezuela, Colombia, Canada, Ecuador and China. Additionally, I have been an ACADEMIC IELTS instructor for 2 years , both onsite and online with over 20 students per preparation program, which guarantees a B2 score. Fortunately, many of my students have achieved a C1 score as a final score. I am also a live interpreter, English - Spanish, and a translator. I can successfully translate or interpret live content in the fields of education, music, music production, biology, industrial engineering, aeronautics, history, tourism, archeology and sports. At the moment, I am working for a Chinese company as an English tutor and IELTS speaking instructor for students aged between 18 -35. On top of that, I´m working as an English instructor for JAMESTOWN Colombia. One of my major responsibilities here is to prepare students to achieve a B2 in their IELTS. I´m glad to inform that some of my students have achieved C1 score as a final result. I am able to apply and develop a syllabus following communicative theories and approaches for each student in order to be able to effectively communicate in English or Spanish, and/ or improve their productive skills in 4 months. I´m capable to create and develop different kind of content such as course content, teaching content, content for learning purposes, learning content to acquire E2L or S2L, literary content to teach and to learn E2L and evaluation content regarding receptive or productive skills. lab activities, phonics for children, teens and adults. Likewise, I'm able to teach phonetics and phonology, structural and functional grammar, reading and writing, psychology, sociology, science, 2L acquisition theories, literature and linguistics. I also create and sync. subtitles and voice over for movies, TV series, podcasts and more.
