4x4 / Off-Road Technical Content Writer – Ongoing SEO Projects

**Carbon Offroad** is looking for an experienced writer with genuine knowledge of the **4x4, off-road, winching and vehicle recovery industry**. This is not a generic SEO blog-writing role. We need someone who understands the subject matter and can write useful, technically accurate content for Australian 4WD owners. Topics will include: * Electric winches and winch sizing * Vehicle-specific winch fitment * Hilux, Ranger, LandCruiser, Patrol, Prado, Triton, D-Max, Navara and similar vehicles * Synthetic winch rope and recovery equipment * Winch troubleshooting and maintenance * 4x4 recovery techniques * Product and competitor comparisons * Technical guides and buyer education ### How the work will operate We will provide **one project at a time**, including the topic, SEO/search intent strategy, target queries, required structure, internal linking requirements and relevant Carbon Offroad product information. Most articles/guides will be approximately **800–1,500 words**, depending on the subject. There is potential for ongoing work for the right writer. ### Important: Human-Written Content Only **AI-generated articles will not be accepted.** We are specifically hiring someone for their own industry knowledge, research and writing ability. We do not want articles generated or substantially rewritten by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar AI tools. Submitted work will be reviewed for originality, technical accuracy, source quality and common AI-generated writing patterns. Generic, fabricated, repetitive or obviously AI-produced content will be rejected. AI may be used for minor administrative tasks such as spellchecking, but the research, opinions, technical explanations and finished article must be the writer's own work. ### What we're looking for You should: * Have genuine knowledge or experience in the 4x4/off-road industry * Understand winches, recovery gear and modified 4WDs * Be comfortable researching technical specifications and checking facts * Be able to explain technical subjects clearly without unnecessary SEO filler * Write naturally for an Australian audience * Follow a supplied SEO/content brief closely * Be comfortable comparing products and brands fairly rather than turning every article into an advertisement * Produce original, useful content that sounds like it was written by someone who actually understands 4WDs **Industry knowledge is more important to us than being a traditional SEO copywriter.** ### To apply Please send: 1.
