Apparel Graphic Designer / Fashion Technical Designer — T-Shirt Artwork & Placement

FHENTOM is a developing luxury streetwear brand, and we are looking for an experienced fashion graphic designer / apparel technical designer to review and prepare our existing T-shirt designs before we give our manufacturer final approval to begin production. This is NOT a job to create completely new designs from scratch. We already have the T-shirt designs, logos, and artwork. Your job is to professionally review, correct, measure, and prepare what we already have so that the artwork is properly positioned and production-ready for our manufacturer. What You Will Do For each T-shirt, you will: Review the front and back artwork placement Determine whether the logo/artwork is positioned correctly Confirm the appropriate distance from the neckline Confirm the appropriate artwork height and width Check whether the artwork is properly centered Check proportions and spacing Review the overall visual balance of the design on the shirt Determine whether the artwork is too large, too small, too high, too low, or improperly positioned Make any necessary adjustments Ensure the artwork maintains the correct proportions and is not stretched or compressed Review the artwork resolution and quality for manufacturing Ensure logos and graphics are sufficiently high resolution for printing Prepare clean, production-ready artwork files for the manufacturer Clearly document the final measurements and placement specifications Manufacturer Requirements Our manufacturer has specifically asked us to confirm the artwork measurements and placement before production begins. For example, we need specifications such as: FRONT Logo width: ___ cm Distance from neckline seam to top of artwork: ___ cm Horizontal placement: Centered Artwork height: ___ cm BACK Artwork height: ___ cm Artwork width: ___ cm Distance from neckline seam to top of artwork: ___ cm Horizontal placement: Centered Maintain original artwork proportions The designer we hire should be comfortable creating these types of apparel production specifications. Important — We Want Professional Industry Judgment We don't want someone who will simply use the measurements we give them. We want someone who can look at the shirt and say: "This placement is good." or "This should be moved 2 cm higher." or "The artwork is too large for this garment." or "The logo should be reduced." or "The proportions/resolution need to be corrected before production." You should have an understanding of professional apparel design, luxury/streetwear aesthetics, and garment graphic placement. We want the finished designs to have a polished, intentional appearance comparable to the level of detail expected in established premium/luxury apparel. Artwork Quality You will also be responsible for checking that the artwork is suitable for manufacturing. Please review: Resolution Vector vs. raster artwork Image quality Edges Transparency Typography Logo proportions Print dimensions Artwork scaling Color separation where applicable Any pixelation or quality issues that could affect the final print If an artwork needs to be recreated or converted to a higher-quality/vector format, please identify it and make the necessary correction. Deliverables For each shirt, I would like: Final front artwork Final back artwork High-resolution production files Transparent-background artwork where applicable Final artwork dimensions Final placement measurements Annotated shirt mockup showing the measurements A short production specification sheet that I can send directly to the manufacturer Clear notes identifying any changes you made Preferred Experience The ideal candidate should have experience with: Fashion graphic design T-shirt design Apparel production Streetwear Luxury/premium fashion Garment graphic placement Technical design / tech packs Print-ready artwork Vector artwork Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop A fashion design or apparel technical design background is strongly preferred. Experience working with clothing manufacturers is a major plus. Important Please do not redesign the brand or completely change the artwork unless you identify a specific issue that needs correction. The primary goal is: REVIEW → MEASURE → CORRECT → OPTIMIZE → PREPARE FOR MANUFACTURING We are looking for someone who can help us confidently give the manufacturer the green light to begin production.
