Project Overview I'm looking for an experienced brand/graphic designer with a strong creative eye to help elevate and unify my digital presence as I prepare for a website and brand relaunch. I am an executive coach, professional speaker, CEO, and Amazon bestselling business author based in Denver. I already have an established company brand, logos, colors, professional photography, website direction, book branding, and messaging. I am not looking for a full rebrand or new logos. What I need is someone who can take what already exists and create a small, sophisticated visual system that connects my personal brand, company, and book across LinkedIn and Google Business. I don't want someone who simply waits for me to say, "Put this photo here and this text there." I'm specifically looking for a designer who will bring creative direction and their own ideas about what will make the overall brand feel more polished, cohesive, current, and executive-level. Creating a Cohesive Visual System An important part of this project is making three related brands feel like they belong to the same ecosystem: Diana Lowe → Blue Light Leadership → Hard to Handle Each serves a different purpose: Diana Lowe — The Expert Executive coach, professional speaker, author, and thought leader. Blue Light Leadership — The Company Executive coaching and leadership development for organizations, particularly around leadership behavior, emotional intelligence, engagement, and difficult high performers. Hard to Handle — The Intellectual Property An Amazon bestselling business book focused on the "high performer paradox"—what happens when talented people get results but their behavior negatively affects the people around them. The book has also received NYC Big Book Award recognition. I want someone to move beyond simply using the same fonts and colors on seven graphics. The goal is to establish a lightweight visual language across the three brands through thoughtful use of typography, photography, color, graphic treatments, spacing, visual hierarchy, award recognition, and other design elements. Someone should be able to move from my personal LinkedIn profile to Blue Light Leadership to Hard to Handle and intuitively recognize: These are different parts of the same story. At the same time, I don't want all three to look identical. I would like the designer to recommend how these brands should visually relate to one another rather than simply executing each asset independently. ** Project Deliverables ** 1. Diana Lowe Personal LinkedIn Banner Create a sophisticated banner for my personal LinkedIn profile that supports my positioning as an: Executive Coach Professional Speaker Business Author CEO of Blue Light Leadership I also now have credibility markers including: Amazon Bestseller NYC Big Book Award Distinguished Favorite I do not necessarily want every credential, award, title, and message squeezed onto the banner. I want the designer to recommend what should and should not appear so the result feels sophisticated rather than crowded. 2. Blue Light Leadership LinkedIn Company Banner Create an updated LinkedIn company-page banner that visually aligns with our newly relaunched website. Blue Light Leadership is a B2B executive coaching and leadership-development company. The visual should feel appropriate for organizational decision-makers, HR leaders, and executives—not like a generic life-coaching or motivational brand. 3. Hard to Handle LinkedIn Banner Create an updated banner for the LinkedIn presence of: Hard to Handle: A High Performer Paradox This should incorporate the book's existing visual identity while highlighting its growing recognition, including: Amazon Bestseller NYC Big Book Award Distinguished Favorite Book cover imagery may be incorporated where appropriate. I want this asset to feel connected to Diana Lowe and Blue Light Leadership while still clearly having its own identity as a book/intellectual property. 4–6. Three LinkedIn Featured Section Graphics Create three coordinated graphics/templates for the Featured section of my personal LinkedIn profile. Potential areas include: Executive Coaching / Work With Me Professional Speaking / Book Diana Hard to Handle / Book / Award Recognition However, I'm open to the designer recommending a stronger structure based on the overall brand and how LinkedIn's Featured section is visually presented. The three graphics should work together as a set rather than looking like unrelated social-media graphics. 7. Blue Light Leadership Google Business Profile Cover Image Create an updated branded cover/header image for my Google Business Profile. It should be visually consistent with the refreshed Blue Light Leadership brand and the broader visual system developed for this project. 8. Mini Visual Reference Sheet Create a simple one-page visual reference sheet documenting the design system established through this project. This is not intended to be a comprehensive brand guide. I'd like it to capture things such as: Primary and supporting colors Typography/font usage Photography treatment/style Graphic elements or treatments Visual hierarchy Spacing/layout approach Treatment of award badges and credibility markers How Diana Lowe, Blue Light Leadership, and Hard to Handle visually relate to one another Any simple design rules that will help future materials remain consistent The purpose is to give this document to future designers, contractors, marketing team members, or social-media support so they can create new materials that feel consistent with this visual system. Assets I Will Provide Once the project begins, I can provide: Final professional headshots Professional lifestyle photography Speaking/stage photography Blue Light Leadership logos Current brand colors/fonts New website/design direction Hard to Handle book cover and graphics Amazon Bestseller recognition assets NYC Big Book Award assets/badges Existing LinkedIn/Google graphics Relevant messaging/copy Other brand materials as needed I will provide several photography options and would welcome the designer's recommendation about which images work best for each application. Visual Direction The overall visual identity should feel: Sophisticated • Modern • Warm • Human • Credible • Confident • Executive-level I want to avoid: Generic Canva-template aesthetics Overly busy designs Excessive text Generic "corporate consulting" stock imagery Typical "life coach" branding Designs that feel overly motivational or inspirational Making every asset look exactly the same Using awards/badges in a way that makes the brand feel cluttered or overly promotional My work sits at the intersection of executive coaching, leadership development, professional speaking, behavioral change, and workplace engagement, so the visual identity needs enough credibility for a CHRO or executive while retaining personality and warmth. Who I'm Looking For I'm particularly interested in designers with experience in one or more of these areas: Executive/personal branding Professional speakers Authors Consultants Executive coaches Professional-services firms Thought leaders B2B brands Strong typography, visual hierarchy, photography selection, and composition skills are particularly important. LinkedIn design experience is strongly preferred. I also want someone who is comfortable saying: "I understand what you're asking for, but visually, I think this approach would work better." I'm collaborative and open to ideas. I'm hiring a designer because I want the benefit of your design expertise—not simply someone to execute my instructions. Final File Requirements For all assets, please provide: Correct dimensions for each platform High-resolution PNG/JPG exports as appropriate Editable source files Canva, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop files are acceptable Designs that account for profile-photo placement and platform cropping Safe placement of important text/elements for desktop and mobile viewing where applicable I would also like 1–2 reasonable revision rounds included in the fixed project price. Timeline I am currently finalizing my photography and other assets. Once those are ready, I would like to move quickly, ideally completing the project within approximately 3–5 business days. Please tell me honestly whether that turnaround is realistic based on your availability. To Apply Please include: Please begin your proposal with BLUE LIGHT and answer the screening questions below. I'm especially interested in seeing relevant brand identity work rather than general social-media graphics.
