We work with individuals impacted by layoffs and career changes, providing coaching, job-search strategy, resume and LinkedIn guidance, and interview preparation. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Career Advisor to join our network of freelancers/independent contractors. Career Advisors work directly with clients to help them navigate career transitions and make meaningful progress toward their next opportunity. Key Responsibilities * Provide one-on-one career coaching to job seekers through virtual sessions * Help clients develop effective job-search strategies and identify target roles * Provide custom resume writing to clients, following provided templates * Review and provide feedback on CVs/resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and other career materials * Prepare clients for interviews through coaching, practice, and constructive feedback * Help clients clarify career goals, strengths, skills, and professional positioning * Provide practical guidance, accountability, and encouragement throughout the job search * Document client sessions and follow Career Candor's coaching processes and standards * Maintain a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and client service What We're Looking For * Must have at least 5 years of experience in career coaching, outplacement, recruiting, human resources, talent development, or a related field * Must have 6+ months of experience either career coaching individuals in the manufacturing industry or have at least 6+ months working in the manufacturing industry * Reliable access to a computer and internet to host confidential, virtual sessions * Strong knowledge of job-search strategy, resumes, LinkedIn, and interviewing * Strong coaching, listening, and relationship-building skills * Ability to work independently and manage client appointments reliably * Comfortable working virtually with clients from diverse professional backgrounds and industries * Career advising or career coaching certification, preferred
