Cold Caller / Appointment Setter for US Small Business Owners (B2B, hourly)

We're Pipeline (trypipeline.co). We find the owner behind local businesses like plumbers, HVAC shops, and dentists, verify a way to reach them, and run the outreach for our customers. Our customers are companies that sell to those owners, for example a software company for HVAC contractors or a marketing agency. We're hiring a caller to phone those business owners for our customers and book meetings on the customer's calendar. You won't be building lists or researching anyone. We do that part. Your job is the call. Pay: $6-10/hour based on experience, plus $20 for every booked meeting that actually happens. You bring your own calling setup (details below), and your rate covers it. How a shift works: - You log into our web app and see your call list for the day, already in order. - Each row shows the business, the owner's name when we have it, and a short script our customer approved, with one line about that specific business. - You dial by hand from your own calling setup, on a US local number you use only for our calls. - After each call you log what happened (no answer, gatekeeper, talked to the owner, not interested, meeting booked, do not call) and add a short note. - If the owner wants to talk, you pick a time from the customer's open slots in the app and it lands on their calendar. - If nobody picks up, the app sends a follow-up email for you. You don't write emails. Your calling setup (you need this already working before you start): - Your own business phone app or dialer that calls US numbers. - A US local number used only for our calls, in the area code we pick. If we give you more than one customer, one number per customer. You own and pay for the numbers. - Manual or click-to-call only. Any power, parallel, or auto-dial mode stays off. Recording off. - When an owner calls the number back, it rings you during your working hours, and the voicemail greeting names the company you're calling for. - You can export your call log (date, time, number, length) when we ask. - Each number registered with the Free Caller Registry (freecallerregistry.com, it's free) so it doesn't show up as spam. Hours: start around 10 hours a week on one customer, growing to about 20 hours a week (80 hours a month) once it's working. All calls happen between 8am and 8pm in the business owner's time zone, with the first call to each owner in their morning. If you're outside the US, you'll be working US business hours. Expect about 30 dials an hour, which is one every two minutes. Most calls go to voicemail or a front desk. That's normal, we care about owner conversations and meetings, not dial count. The rules (these aren't flexible): - Manual dialing only. No autodialers, no texting, no voicemail drops, no call recording. - Say your name, the company you're calling for, and why you're calling, every time. Don't mention Pipeline on calls. - If anyone asks to not be called again, say "understood, I'll take you off the list," log it as do not call, and move on. Right away, every time. - Stick to the approved script. You can sound like yourself, but don't make promises or claims that aren't in it. - Some numbers are owners' personal cell phones. Don't copy, save, or share any number or name outside the app. The app logs every number you open. What you need: - 1+ year of cold calling US small business owners and booking meetings. Home services, dental, or other local trades is a big plus. - Clear, easy to understand English on the phone. - A quiet room, reliable internet, a laptop, and a decent headset. - Comfortable in a simple web app and willing to follow a process exactly. - You track your own numbers and aren't scared of rejection.
