Content Creator / Video Editor

We’re looking for an experienced freelance Content Creator / Video Editor to support Hunter & Gather with ad hoc content creation across our organic and paid social channels. You’ll work from clear creative briefs to help bring ideas to life, from concept and scripting through to shooting, editing and delivery of finished assets. The work will range from polished brand and product storytelling to fast, platform-native social and performance creative. Projects may include: Shooting and editing short-form social-first video for organic and paid channels Creating founder, team, product, educational and lifestyle content Producing and editing paid-social creative, including hooks, UGC-style content, product demonstrations, testimonials and creative variations Creating cut-downs, remixes and iterations from existing footage Adding motion graphics, animated text, product call-outs and other social-first treatments Supporting occasional content shoots, including planning, talent, locations, equipment and production logistics Photography and stills creation where relevant We’re looking for someone with strong creative judgement who can take a brief and run with it, rather than simply executing instructions. You should understand how creative needs to adapt between organic social and performance marketing, while maintaining a consistent and high-quality brand feel. You’ll need a strong portfolio of content you have personally shot and edited, excellent video editing skills, and confidence creating content using both professional camera equipment and phones. Experience creating content for Meta, TikTok and other social platforms is important. Experience within food, wellness, lifestyle or beauty brands would be a bonus. This is a flexible freelance relationship expected from October to the end of 2026.
