Digital Asset Cataloging Specialist for Optimizely DAM

Project Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented Digital Asset Cataloging Specialist to help organize and catalog a large volume of product imagery in Optimizely. This is a hands-on production role focused on uploading assets, applying accurate metadata, connecting imagery to the correct product records, and maintaining consistent naming and organization. This role does not include image retouching, creative production, or DAM strategy. Responsibilities Upload and catalog product images in Optimizely Apply metadata using established fields, naming conventions, and taxonomy Match images to the correct brand, product, style, color, and asset type Confirm that filenames, metadata, folders, and product associations are accurate Identify missing, duplicate, outdated, or incorrectly cataloged assets Replace or update existing files when directed Maintain accurate asset status and version information Track completed work and document any files that require Team review Follow established workflows and quality-control checklists Work through a high volume of assets while maintaining accuracy and consistency Required Experience One to three years of experience cataloging digital assets, managing image libraries, entering metadata, or working in a DAM or content-management platform. Strong attention to detail, particularly with filenames, metadata, product identifiers, and versioning Experience working with large batches of product images or other digital files Comfort using spreadsheets to track assets, status, and exceptions Ability to follow detailed instructions and repeatable workflows Strong organization, communication, and follow-through Reliable internet access and the ability to work independently Preferred Experience Direct experience with Optimizely Experience with apparel, retail, ecommerce, or another high-SKU product environment Familiarity with product identifiers such as style numbers, color IDs, and SKUs Experience identifying duplicate, missing, outdated, or incorrectly assigned assets Basic familiarity with common image file types and digital-image specifications What Success Looks Like Assets are connected to the correct product records Metadata and filenames follow the provided standards Duplicate or incorrect files are identified and flagged Work is completed accurately and documented clearly Questions and exceptions are raised promptly rather than guessed at To Apply Please include: A short summary of your DAM or digital asset cataloging experience Details about your experience with Optimizely An example of a project involving a large volume of images or product records Your current availability and time zone Your hourly rate Please begin your proposal with the word “Optimizely” so we know you read the full posting.
