Egocentric Video Data Contributor

About the Role We're collecting first-person (egocentric) video of everyday human tasks to support AI training. You'll record short, natural task demonstrations using a head-mounted smartphone and our data collection app. No prior experience needed — just an approved device and willingness to follow capture guidelines. What You'll Do Record first-person video of routine tasks (household chores, kitchen work, cleaning, organizing, or trade-specific work depending on assignment) using a head-mounted phone Follow capture standards: camera at forehead/eye-level, angled down so hands stay fully visible Capture complete, natural task sequences (each clip minimum 2 minutes) Upload footage through the provided app for quality review Requirements Location: Based in the US or an approved Western region Device: One of the approved phones — iPhone 12 through 17 lineup (excluding 16e/17e), Google Pixel 6–9, or Samsung Galaxy S21–S24 Head-mount for phone (recommended model shared on onboarding) Reliable internet for uploads Ability to perform tasks naturally with genuine engagement Compensation Paid per approved hour of footage Sessions cleared through QA are approved for payment Soft cap of 100 hours per contributor, after which you'll switch to a new environment Good to Know Footage is reviewed for quality, diversity, and task accuracy (24–48 hr turnaround) Natural, unscripted footage preferred — staged is fine if done with genuine engagement Fraudulent submissions (screen recording, staged/purposeless motion, third-person filming) are not compensated
