Email Marketing & Retention Specialist – UK E-commerce (Dhaka, In-Office)

Summary UK e-commerce business hiring an Email Marketing & Retention Specialist (Klaviyo) to work in our Dhaka office. Please read the terms below before applying. This is an in-office role, not remote, and the hours follow the UK working day. The terms Location: In-office at our workspace in Panthapath, Dhaka, alongside our existing Dhaka team. This is not a remote or hybrid role. Desk space and internet are provided; you bring your own laptop. Hours: 08:30–16:30 UK time, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour break. Bangladesh doesn't observe daylight saving, so your local hours shift twice a year — 13:30–21:30 from late March to late October, and 14:30–22:30 from late October to late March. About us Carbon Accents is an established UK automotive business selling styling and car care products across two brands, shipping over 2,000 orders a month to UK customers through Shopify, Amazon, eBay and TikTok Shop. The role You'd own email and SMS marketing in Klaviyo for both brands. Day to day: Planning and running the email and SMS calendar for both brands — launches, promotions, seasonal pushes and educational content Building and improving core flows: welcome, abandoned cart and checkout, browse abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back and review requests Writing all copy yourself — subject lines, preview text and body — in the right voice for each brand Building mobile-first email templates in Klaviyo Building segments based on real buying behaviour, and growing the list through sign-up forms and on-site capture Keeping deliverability healthy — list hygiene, sunset rules, consent and opt-outs A/B testing subject lines, send times, creative and offers, and acting on the results Reporting weekly on email and SMS revenue, what you changed and why, and what you're testing next You'll report to our Operations Manager in Dhaka and work directly with the UK directors. What we're looking for Essential: hands-on Klaviyo experience running a real account — flows, campaigns, segments, templates and reporting; strong English copywriting; able to build emails yourself that hold up on mobile; SMS marketing experience, including consent basics; confident with the numbers — revenue per recipient, open and click rates, conversion and customer lifetime value; self-directed and able to own the channel. Preferred: Klaviyo certification; Shopify experience with Klaviyo integrated; experience marketing to UK, US or European customers; familiarity with UK GDPR and PECR; design tools such as Figma, Canva or Photoshop; experience running email for more than one brand at a time.
