# Executive Enterprise Sales, Demo & Negotiation Coach Invent Health is a growing healthcare technology company that works with health plans across the U.S. We sell complex enterprise SaaS solutions in areas including risk adjustment, coding, quality, encounters and payer analytics. We are looking for a senior **Executive Sales, Client Demo & Negotiation Coach** to work directly with our leadership, sales and product teams. This is not a generic public-speaking assignment. We want someone who can observe our actual client meetings and product demonstrations, identify where we are losing impact, and coach our team to become stronger in executive communication, meeting leadership, enterprise selling and commercial negotiation. ## What We Need Help With Our team is strong technically and builds excellent relationships with clients. We want to become significantly better at translating that knowledge into highly effective executive-level client conversations. The coach should help us improve: * How we open and control an executive client meeting * Establishing credibility in the first few minutes * Creating the right pace, tempo and energy * Communicating complex technology in simple business language * Turning product demonstrations into business stories rather than feature walkthroughs * Asking stronger discovery questions * Listening and adjusting the discussion based on client signals * Transitioning smoothly between sales, product and subject-matter experts * Handling interruptions and difficult questions * Managing objections with confidence * Avoiding overexplaining or excessively long answers * Knowing when to go deeper and when to move forward * Closing meetings with clear commitments and next steps * Improving executive presence, vocal delivery, clarity and intelligibility where appropriate ## Enterprise Sales & Negotiation Coaching A major part of this engagement will be helping our team become stronger commercial negotiators. Some of our executives are excellent at creating trust and strong relationships with clients. We want to preserve that strength while building greater commercial discipline. The coach should help our team develop skills around: * Defending value and pricing * Avoiding premature discounts or concessions * Handling procurement pressure * Responding when a competitor is positioned as less expensive * Negotiating scope, pricing and contract structure * Creating appropriate commercial tension without damaging the relationship * Asking for commitment * Knowing when to push and when to listen * Using silence effectively * Understanding what is actually behind a pricing objection * Trading concessions rather than simply giving them away * Advancing opportunities toward a decision * Negotiating confidently with VP and C-suite buyers We are looking for **consultative enterprise selling**, not aggressive or transactional sales tactics. ## How We Would Like to Work We expect the coach to work with a small group of senior executives and leaders. The engagement would ideally include: 1. Reviewing recordings of our existing client meetings and product demonstrations 2. Providing direct individual feedback 3. Conducting one-on-one coaching with selected executives 4. Running live mock client meetings 5. Conducting negotiation role-play 6. Stopping presenters during rehearsal and correcting issues in real time 7. Role-playing different types of buyers, executives and procurement teams 8. Coaching presenters on executive presence, pacing, clarity and communication style 9. Helping us define the role each executive should play during a meeting 10. Developing a repeatable framework for how Invent Health should conduct client meetings We would prefer someone who is comfortable giving **direct and candid feedback** rather than simply delivering classroom-style training. ## Ideal Background We are particularly interested in coaches with experience in several of the following areas: * Enterprise B2B SaaS sales * Executive sales coaching * Enterprise negotiation * Complex deal strategy * Product demonstration coaching * Executive communication * Consultative selling * Sales leadership * Objection handling * Pricing conversations * Executive presence * Coaching international executives * Healthcare technology or other complex enterprise technology Experience selling or coaching teams selling to **C-suite and VP-level U.S. executives** is particularly valuable. Healthcare experience is helpful but not required if you have strong experience selling complex enterprise software or services. ## Initial Engagement We are considering an initial **4–6 week engagement**. We would like to begin with a paid working session in which shortlisted candidates review part of one of our actual demonstrations and provide feedback. We may also conduct a live negotiation role-play to understand your coaching approach. If there is a strong fit, this could become an ongoing coaching relationship with our leadership and sales team. ## When Applying Please include: 1. Your experience coaching senior enterprise sales executives 2. Examples of complex B2B or SaaS sales teams you have coached 3. Your experience with enterprise negotiation and pricing discussions 4. Your experience coaching product demonstrations 5. How you would approach an executive who builds excellent relationships but becomes too accommodating during commercial negotiations 6. Your approach to coaching technically strong executives who need to communicate more clearly and concisely 7. Your suggested structure for an initial 4–6 week engagement 8. Your availability for U.S. Pacific Time sessions Please begin your response with **"Enterprise Coach"** so we know you have read the full description.
