Expert Photo Book Designer Needed – Custom, High-End Design | Long-Term Opportunity

We are looking for a highly experienced graphic designer who specializes in creating beautiful, professionally designed photo books. We want someone who has been doing this type of work for a long time and has a strong portfolio of completed photo books, albums, coffee-table books, or similar image-heavy publications. This is not a rush project. Quality is much more important to us than speed. We are looking for someone who takes the time to thoughtfully design each page, pays attention to the photos, and creates a strong visual flow throughout the book. We do not want: - AI-generated designs - Generic templates - Pre-made Canva layouts - Standard online photo book templates - Someone who simply places photos into repetitive layouts We want each book to feel custom, polished, carefully curated, and professionally designed from scratch. The designer should have a strong eye for: - Photo placement and composition - Visual storytelling - Page-to-page flow - Typography - Spacing and balance - Editorial layout - Consistency throughout the book - Choosing layouts that suit the individual photos rather than forcing everything into the same template We would ideally like to build a long-term working relationship with someone who is patient, reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys designing photo books. Print-Ready Files The final photo book must be delivered in a professional print-ready format suitable for sending directly to a printing company. You should understand and be comfortable working with printer specifications, including: - Bleed and trim - Safe margins - Image resolution - CMYK/color requirements - Page setup - Print-ready PDF export - Any other specifications provided by the printer Please note: Applications without relevant photo book examples in the portfolio will not be considered. We are specifically looking for someone who is genuinely experienced in photo book and editorial design, rather than a general graphic designer who mainly works with templates.
