UI/UX-Focused Frontend Engineer (T3 Stack) We're a GCP-based company building AI products for healthcare practices. Looking for a full-stack engineer with a frontend center of gravity — T3 on the web, real native-mobile experience, and taste in UI/UX. This is a hands-on build role. You design and implement product surfaces yourself. We ship web today and are starting native mobile; you should have already shipped both. A live portfolio is required; we hire from work we can see. 🧰 Tech stack • App: Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript • T3 core: tRPC, Tailwind CSS, Drizzle ORM, PostgreSQL • Auth / env: Auth.js (NextAuth) patterns, typed env • Surfaces: production web apps (and PWAs); native iOS / Android (starting now) • Cloud: Google Cloud (Cloud Run). We're a GCP-based company — real Google Cloud experience is a plus, not a gate. 🧱 What you'll do 1. Own the look and feel of product surfaces — layout, typography, spacing, motion, empty states — and implement them in production, not as a handoff 2. Build in our T3 stack: Next.js App Router, typed tRPC APIs, Tailwind, Drizzle where the UI needs the data layer 3. Help us start native mobile — same product quality on iOS and Android that we already expect on the web. You have shipped native apps before; we have not, yet. 4. Raise the design bar on existing screens — make them clearer, faster to scan, and nicer to use 5. Work full-stack when needed (tRPC procedures, schema, auth-aware UI) without losing the frontend / UX focus 6. Review UI with the team and leave every surface better than you found it ────────────────────────────────────────────── 🏥 Healthcare, and why we're being specific about it What you'll be building is a full electronic health record — charting, scheduling, claims, eligibility, payment posting, patient records — built on Medplum. It's a large, data-dense application, and on this kind of product the interface is the product. We strongly prefer someone who has designed and built healthcare software before. EHR experience in particular puts you straight at the front of the line. Medplum, FHIR, or time inside any electronic health record — tell us about it in your proposal.
