# Full-Stack Developer to Build a Custom CRM + Email Operations Platform (Music Marketing) ## About us We are a small, established music marketing and promotion company. Our operations currently run across spreadsheets, an admin panel, and a scatter of disconnected tools, and we are ready to consolidate everything onto one platform we own. We have the domain knowledge and the data model worked out; we need an experienced builder to bring it to life. This is a greenfield build. We are starting fresh and want it done properly the first time. ## The project Build the internal operating system for our sales and marketing team: a single source of truth for contacts and pipeline, with the email and automation layer wired directly into it. Roughly seven purpose-built screens plus supporting back-office and reporting tooling. Everything runs on our own infrastructure. We already have the servers. ## Scope of work **Database and data model** - Implement a PostgreSQL schema for contacts, companies, pipeline/deal stages, email activity, and campaign outcomes - Constraints and de-duplication logic enforced at the database level - Import and clean an existing dataset of roughly 35,000 contacts, with source attribution on every record - Schema owned in version control via a migration tool (Drizzle or similar) **Server and infrastructure** - Provision and configure our existing VPS hosts (managed via Coolify) - Stand up the database, application, background workers, and supporting services - Monitoring and error tracking (Sentry-class + uptime checks) **Application (the custom front end)** - A modern web app (Next.js/TypeScript or comparable, your recommendation welcome) with roughly seven screens: a contact record with full interaction timeline, a pipeline board, a working contacts table with filtering, a campaign/send screen, a reply-triage inbox, a sequence monitor, and a data-import review queue - Clean, fast, table-heavy UI (something like shadcn/ui + Tailwind + a data-grid library) - Role-based access for a small team **Email operations** - Integrate a cold-email sending platform and a separate broadcast/newsletter platform, each on isolated sending reputations - Capture every send, open, bounce, and reply back into our database via webhooks - Automated multi-step sequences that pace themselves within sending limits and cancel the moment a reply arrives - Unified suppression/unsubscribe enforced across all sending channels - Email verification gate before any send **Automation and workflow** - A durable workflow engine for sequences, approvals, and scheduled jobs (Inngest, Temporal, or your recommendation) - Lightweight webhook/glue layer for inbound capture (n8n or similar) **Back office and reporting** - NocoDB (or comparable) over the same database for bulk editing and quick fixes by non-technical staff - Metabase (or comparable) dashboards for funnel, deliverability, and revenue reporting ## Tech context Postgres, a version-controlled schema, a TypeScript web app, a workflow engine, NocoDB, Metabase, and Coolify-managed deployment on our own servers. If you would approach any layer differently, tell us why in your proposal; we care more about a maintainable, mainstream stack than any specific tool. ## What we are looking for - Demonstrated experience shipping custom CRM, RevOps, or data-heavy internal tools end to end - Comfort across database design, backend, front end, and deployment (solo builder or a small tight team) - Someone who ships in working increments, not a big-bang delivery six months later - Bonus: email deliverability experience (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, sending reputation, warmup) ## How to apply Please include all of the following so we can compare proposals fairly: 1.
