Graphic Designer (Figma) - Own the Visual Output of a DTC Brand
Worldwide
We're a DTC belt brand looking for a designer to own the visual output for one of our two brands. You'll work directly with our Head of Retention on the creative that goes out to our customers every week: campaign concepts, layouts, visual storytelling, offer presentation. Most of it ships through email, so if you haven't designed for this format before, that's fine - we'll teach you. WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS We keep meeting people who can execute a layout but can't develop an idea. We'd rather hire someone with real design instinct and grow them into the channel than hire someone who knows the channel and nothing else. WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE - Turning a campaign idea into a visual concept - Designing layouts in Figma: hierarchy, typography, composition, rhythm - Choosing and directing imagery from our product and lifestyle library - Shaping how an offer or story is communicated visually - Building the designs in Klaviyo (we'll show you how) - Bringing ideas to concepting and feedback calls WHAT WE NEED - Strong Figma skills and real design fundamentals - The ability to develop an idea, not just execute a brief - Fluent English, good communication - Able to work in overlap with Amsterdam hours (CET/CEST) - Proactive: you look ahead, ask what's next, propose things to test NICE TO HAVE - Photoshop - AI image generation, AI copywriting workflows - Ecommerce or DTC brand experience - Any email, landing page or campaign design experience ABOUT US We just launched a full Outdoor collection next to our existing Classic line - new products, new photography, new use cases, new stories. Our other brand already has its own designer; you'd own this one. Tools: Figma, Klaviyo, Slack, Notion, and AI throughout. We'll start with a limited number of hours per week and scale up with fit. Plenty of hours available for the right person, and we're hiring long term. TO APPLY 1. Your portfolio - we want to see range and thinking, not just polish 2. Pick one piece from your portfolio and tell us in 3-4 sentences what the problem was and why you solved it that way. 3. A short intro video - who you are, what you've made, why this role. (You can discuss 1 & 2 in the video as well) Applications without a video won't be reviewed.
