Hands-on Full-Stack Technical Lead — Improve Existing SaaS with AI

I’m building BrimScout, software for RV parks and campgrounds. We already have a live application, approved design HTML, code and documented issues. Claude Code and Codex support the build. I need one experienced, hands-on technical lead to improve what exists and take responsibility for engineering quality across the product. You’ll review AI-generated code, decide what to retain or fix, write the necessary changes and verify that real user workflows work. This includes the landing pages and staff dashboard, mobile layouts and interactions, backend/data, reservations, payments, account permissions, AI/voice integrations and reliable releases. You must understand the code you approve and be able to fix it yourself. The approved Claude Design HTML/CSS is our visual source. Preserve it, connect it properly and flag source-design problems before changing the design. We value practical improvements and reuse of existing tests and findings. Explain any need for a rewrite, new infrastructure or specialist help before proposing that expense. Current stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, SQLite/Drizzle, Stripe and Telnyx, with GitHub CI and existing DigitalOcean/Cloudflare infrastructure. Strong frontend/backend and SQL experience is essential. Be honest about tools you would need to learn; messaging experience and voice-agent experience are different. Please apply if you have personally shipped and maintained comparable SaaS, can demonstrate booking/payment/admin work, and understand concurrent bookings, repeated payment events, tenant isolation, testing, deployment, rollback and backup recovery. If you work with a team, name the engineer who would actually lead and write the code. We’ll review your written examples and have a video call before selecting anyone. No unpaid custom build is requested. If selected, we’ll agree a small, capped implementation milestone using our existing findings, with a working result and clear acceptance checks.
