Job Title: Shopify Migration & E-Commerce Store Setup (Migrating from Web.com)

We are an established art and home decor business looking for an experienced e-commerce web developer to help migrate and redesign our online store from Web.com to Shopify. Our current site is hosted on Web.com’s store builder, but we have reached the platform’s 500-product limit. We are expanding our inventory to include collections of greeting cards, smaller art prints, and original artwork, and we need a flexible, scalable Shopify setup that can handle catalog growth smoothly. Scope of Work: Catalog & Data Migration: Safely export and migrate all existing product listings, high-resolution imagery, descriptions, and variants from Web.com to Shopify. Store Design & Theme Customization: Select and customize a clean, visually compelling, mobile-responsive Shopify theme that complements an artisanal, fine art brand aesthetic. Navigation & Collection Architecture: Build an intuitive catalog structure (e.g., categories for original paintings, prints, greeting cards, and gift items) with effective search and filtering. Integrations & Checkout: Configure payments, shipping tiers, basic SEO (including 301 redirects to protect existing search visibility), and automated transaction emails. Domain & Launch: Connect our custom domain and ensure a smooth go-live transition with minimal downtime. Handoff & Training: Provide a brief walkthrough or loom video showing how our team can easily add new inventory, manage collections, and fulfill orders going forward. Required Experience: Proven track record building and launching successful Shopify stores (please provide portfolio links). Experience with platform migrations, CSV product structuring, and managing 301 redirects. Strong eye for typography, layout, and visual presentation suited for art and lifestyle brands.
