Hi, We’re looking for parents in the United States with kids with autism to help us test an educational iOS app designed specifically for autistic children. We believe parents know their children best. Your child’s real-world experience can help us understand what works, what doesn’t, and how we can make the app more engaging, accessible, and enjoyable for autistic children. 🌈 What you'll do • Test the app with your child on an iPhone/iPad. • Let your child use it naturally over 7 days • Observe how your child interacts with the activities. • Note and Share what captures their attention and what they don't enjoy. • Share honest feedback about engagement, usability, age-appropriateness, sounds, animations, and activities •Tell us about anything that seems confusing, frustrating, uncomfortable, or difficult for your child. • Complete a short questionnaire via the Google Form link, and provide more detailed feedback via Google Doc. We genuinely want honest feedback — including things your child doesn't like. There are no "right" answers. You know your child's interests, preferences, sensitivities, communication style, attention span, and the little things that can make an experience easier or harder for them. Please include this in your detailed feedback doc, which can help us answer questions like: - Is the app genuinely engaging for autistic children? - Are the activities appropriate for different developmental levels? - Are the instructions easy to understand? - Are the animations and sounds comfortable? - Which activities does your child naturally gravitate toward? - What causes frustration or disengagement? - What could make the experience more accessible? - What features or improvements would make you, as a parent, more comfortable recommending the app? Our goal isn't simply to test whether the app works. Our goal is to understand how we can make the app better for the children and families who use it. By sharing your child's experience, you can help us identify opportunities to make future versions more thoughtful, accessible, and enjoyable for children with autism.
