Partnership & Sponsorship Outreach Specialist for Local SEO SaaS

We’re looking for someone to help identify and reach out to potential partners, influencers, creators, communities, newsletters, podcasts, and other audience owners within the Local SEO / Google Business Profile (GBP) industry. We’re building Surfa (surfa.co), an AI-powered Local SEO platform designed primarily for Local SEO freelancers and agencies that manage Google Business Profiles for clients. Our goal is to get Surfa in front of highly relevant, established audiences through partnerships, sponsorships, collaborations, and other promotional opportunities. What You'll Do: You’ll research and identify people, communities, and platforms that already have an engaged audience of: - Local SEO freelancers - Local SEO agencies - Google Business Profile / GBP consultants - SEO professionals who manage local businesses - Agency owners and marketers focused on Local SEO Potential partners may include: - Local SEO influencers and creators - YouTube channels - X/Twitter and LinkedIn creators - Local SEO newsletters - Podcasts - Facebook Groups - Slack, Discord, and other private communities - Forums and industry communities - Blogs and niche industry websites - Training programs, courses, webinars, or memberships - Other businesses with complementary Local SEO audiences After building a qualified prospect list, you’ll help conduct personalized outreach to explore opportunities such as: - Sponsored content - Newsletter sponsorships - Community sponsorships - YouTube integrations or product demonstrations - Podcast sponsorships or appearances - Webinars and educational collaborations - Affiliate/revenue-share partnerships - Product reviews - Community discounts or offers - Other mutually beneficial partnerships What We're Looking For: We’re looking for someone who: - Has experience with influencer outreach, partnerships, sponsorships, creator outreach, affiliate partnerships, or business development - Is comfortable researching niche B2B audiences - Can distinguish between a genuinely engaged niche audience and a large but irrelevant following - Writes personalized outreach rather than mass-produced templates - Is comfortable following up and managing conversations Can organize prospects and outreach status clearly in a spreadsheet or CRM - Has strong written English and communication skills Experience in SEO, Local SEO, SaaS, digital marketing, or marketing agencies is a major plus. Important: This is not a mass lead-generation project. We’re much more interested in finding 30-50 highly relevant people or communities with real influence among Local SEO professionals than building a database of hundreds of generic marketing influencers. Audience relevance and engagement are more important than follower count. We also do not want automated spam outreach. Messages should be personalized based on the individual, community, or platform being contacted. Initial Scope The initial project will involve: - Researching and identifying qualified partnership prospects. - Documenting why each prospect is relevant to Surfa. - Identifying their audience, platform, approximate reach, and contact method. - Recommending the most appropriate partnership angle for each prospect. - Conducting personalized outreach to selected prospects after we review the list. - Following up with prospects where appropriate. - Tracking responses, sponsorship pricing, partnership ideas, and next steps. For interested prospects, we can step into the conversation when needed to discuss Surfa, provide product access, arrange demonstrations, or finalize the partnership.
